July 2008 -- Mauna Loa North shelter construction is complete. BRNC will continue to monitor progress of other promised bus stops.
February 2008 -- Mauna Loa North shelter design is complete and forwarded for permitting and construction. Mauna Loa South shelter added to preliminary list of projects. read SCAT email >>
August 2006 -- Bus riders east of I-75 are forced to stand between the roadway and the drainage ditch -- a dangerous situation. There are no shelters or accessible bus stops. At the request of Lake Sarasota residents, BRNC asks the county to provide bus stops east of I-75.
